What this byline means
“Touchline editorial” is the publishing byline for Touchline's original guides. It is not a claim that a named professional coach, a panel of experts, or an independent testing laboratory reviewed the work. The website, writing and illustrations are developed with AI assistance. We do not invent author biographies, qualifications, match results, testimonials or a publication history.
Separate facts from practice ideas
An official feature description should point to an EA source when it materially informs a guide. Exact requirements, prices, controls and menu settings can vary by edition and update; check the current game before acting. A coaching idea is labelled as a hypothesis or review method. A worked example is labelled illustrative. A conceptual pitch does not establish how the game engine will move a player.
Our probability examples show their mathematical assumptions. Our manual tools explain the inputs behind their outputs. No guide promises wins, pack outcomes, coin profit or a universal best tactic.
Make original content useful
Each guide focuses on a particular decision and gives a practical next step: a worksheet, a comparison, a diagram or a small practice plan. We link related ideas when they help answer the next question. We do not publish copied patch notes, invented breaking news, unverified live prices or large sets of near-identical player pages.
Where a factual source is cited, the surrounding decision framework is Touchline's own explanation. An external link is a reference, not a claim of a partnership or endorsement.
Dates and updates
A published date records when this edition of a guide was released. A reviewed date records an editorial or source check, not proof of in-game performance testing. We do not claim that the suggested practice routines were experimentally validated. A substantive factual correction should carry a dated note describing what changed.
If a version change affects a guide, the relevant section needs checking rather than simply refreshing the date. Old match observations should retain their edition and mode in the player's own journal.
Commercial independence
No advertising, affiliate links, paid placements or sponsored reviews are active in this release. If commercial content is introduced, it must be clearly identified, kept distinct from navigation and editorial advice, and reflected in our privacy disclosures. A paid relationship must not be presented as independent evidence of player or tactic quality.
Corrections and feedback
Use the corrections process for a factual error, misleading example or broken tool behaviour. During this early release, the feedback form downloads a report for you to send through your existing contact channel. It does not submit a ticket. We do not promise a response time that has not been established.
